A little bit of background...

    I came to find the practice of yoga at a time in my life that was filled with the turmoil of change. Through daily practice I developed a great sense of peace. It seemed, no matter what was going on outside of myself - I carried a secure sense of steadiness. I was able to face and work through many insecurities, while I built strength & flexibility on a much deeper level than just my physical body.  My yoga practice transformed the path of my life.

   

     My hope is to share the benefits of a balanced and regular yoga practice. I strive to create safe and comfortable environments for my students. My teaching is rooted  in my own personal practice; a dedication to continuing education, personal growth & discovery, and a committed healthy lifestyle. The practice of yoga may be utilized to help people align all parts of self.

     My classes combine an emphasis on healthy body alignment, mindfulness, attuning to body wisdom, and the link between body and breath. I also strive to provide my students with a practice they may continue through the duration of their lifetime. My teaching style has been influenced by many different styles of yoga and continues to be inspired by a variety of yoga and mediation teachers.
